Hotel La Galería was created with a simple vision: to offer a peaceful, welcoming, and comfortable place from which our guests can discover the beauty of Antigua Guatemala.

Our neocolonial style, inviting common areas, garden, and terrace are all part of an experience designed to enjoy the city at a relaxed pace.

More than simply providing a room, we strive to create a place where our guests can feel comfortable, rest, and take home wonderful memories of their time in Antigua.

Our Location

Antigua Guatemala is a city meant to be explored on foot.

Its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, churches, museums, restaurants, and cafés are best enjoyed slowly and without hurry.

Hotel La Galería is located near the historic center and many of the city’s attractions, making it a convenient base for guests who want to experience Antigua during their stay.

Every story begins with a dream.

The story of Hotel La Galería began long before its doors opened, when our founder had the opportunity to work at a newly renovated hotel and become closely involved in its development and operation.

From the beginning, this experience meant being involved in every detail of the hospitality experience: learning, observing, solving problems, and discovering what truly makes a guest feel welcome.

That experience planted an idea.

If it was possible to help build and grow a hotel from the ground up, perhaps one day it would also be possible to create one of his own.

With dedication, hard work, and an opportunity that arrived at the right moment, that dream began to take shape.

And so, Hotel La Galería was born.
